Cruising the Nile is one of the best thing you can do in Egypt while experiencing all the historical temples and ruck-cuts tombs along the banks of the river Nile.the Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan takes 5 days/4 nights, while it takes 4days\3nights from Aswan to Luxor ,also ,there is a round Nile cruise for 8days/7 nights from Luxor to Luxor or from Aswan to Aswan ,in all Nile cruises trips the sightseeing tours are the same .Also you have the option to book a dahabiya Nile cruise(a luxurious modern river small sailing boat with 2 big sails ) from Luxor to Aswan for 6 days’/5 nights ,to enjoy a tranquil sailing, explore temples and tombs on the banks of the Nile and visit local villages and islands ,that let you leave the modern world behind and enjoy the lifestyle of the ancient culture .The other option is to book a felucca sailing boat for 1,2 or 3 nights , felucca is a small sailing boat with one big sail ,one toilet but no rooms ,it is the most adventurous way to sail in the Nile .
Pick you up from Luxor Airport or your hotel in Luxor and transfer to embark Nile cruise ,Lunch on board , then visit Karnak and Luxor temples in the east bank of Luxor ,then back to the cruise boat for dinner, overnight in Luxor.
After breakfast ,we will visit the valley of the kings ,where we will visit 3 tombs, then we will visit the temple of the queen Hatshipsuit ,the first lady to rule Egypt for 21 years ,her temple is very unique and was built in 1400 BC ,also we will visit Memnoon Colossi,then we will return to the Nile cruise to have lunch on board and start sailing to Edfu via Esna lock. afternoon tea will be served on the cruise sundeck, and dinner will be on board. overnight in Edfu. optional: Sunrise Hot Air Balloon in Luxor
After breakfast on board we will visit Edfu temple which is one of the best preserved temples in Egypt , discovered in 1860 by August Mariette ,and was built during the Greco-Roman time in Egypt and dedicated to the Falcon god Horus, then return back to the cruise boat , then we will sail to the next city Kom-Ombo ,lunch on board, we will arrive Kom-Ombo after noon, Tea & Coffee will be served on the cruise sundeck . we will visit the Crocodile god Sobek temple at Kom-Ombo apron arrival ,then we will sail to Aswan ,Dinner will be oriental on board followed by Galabia party .overnight aboard your Nile cruise in Aswan.
After breakfast ,we will visit the unfinished obelisk in granite quarry in Aswan ,then we will go to visit the last temple to built in Egypt at Philae island ,it was dedicated to the goddess Isis and her son Horus, this temple was moved from Philae island to Egelika island in 8 years ,from 1972 to 1980. We will go back for lunch on board ,then in the afternoon we will enjoy riding Felucca sailing boat around the botanical garden and Elephantine island .dinner in board and over night in Aswan. Optional tour to visit the Nubian village.
Breakfast on board ,disembarkation after breakfast then transfer to Aswan Airport or to your hotel in Aswan, If you have time today, you can book with me an optional trip to Abu Simbel by car or plane , Abu Simbel are 2 temples were dug into the mountain by the king Rameses about 1200 BC. Abu Simbel is about 270 km south of Aswan ,it takes about 3 hours by car but 40 mints by plane.
